Best phone under 15k in india

The battle of the budget smart phone just getting tougher and tougher day to day as new low priced devices with high end specifications launched day to day .. And now in the herd of the best mobile devices on this price range mainly between the three top notch of this time , they r 1 Motorola moto g , 2 Asus Zenfone 5 and 3 Xiaomi mi3 ..

On paper compared to other two devices Xiaomi mi3 as per its specification looks much tougher than the other two . But the real deal when you use them . Well in that prospective all three made full marks as they performed really well no matter what you through at them from multitasking to high end gaming , camera performance to sound quality . Let's find out what makes them different from each other and who score better in each prospect

Design - As per the design Xiaomi mi3 looks better than the other two to the eye . While the design of Moto g is just perfect to grip , to work with one hand and in looks too . Asus Zenfone 5 loose some marks as per design asit looks bulky , big and practically impossible to work with one hand . So in design Xiaomi mi3 and moto g scores more than asus zenfone5 .

Processor - In terms of processor xiaomi mi3 is a way ahead with 2.3 ghz snapdragon 800 quadcore processor . With 1.6 ghz Intel dual core processor asus stands in the second place . Although Moto g has just 1.2 ghz snapdragon 400 processor it still performes much better due to good software optimization .

Memory - Xiaomi mi3 comes with 2 gb ram and 16 gb inbuilt memory . it doesn't have any external memory support which could be a problem for those who store a lot of data in there device . Asus Zenfone 5 also comes with 2 gb ram but there are two variants of internal memory of 8 gb and 16 gb available . It supports upto 32 gb of expandable memory . Moto g is laging here with just 1 gb of ram and 16 gb inbuilt memory without any expansion support .

GPU - Asus zenfone 5 comes with PowerVR SGX544MP2 gpu with 533 mhz clock speed . Moto g comes adreno 305 gpu cloked at 450 mhz . Xiaomi mi3 comes with adreno 330 gpu clocked at 450 mhz .

Display - The display of xiaomi mi3 is full HD while the other two have HD screen . While Xiaomi mi3 tops this battle with 441 ppi 5 inch screen , moto g is in the second place with its gorgeous 329 ppi 5 inch screen . Screen of Asus Zenfone 5 is good but it lacks a bit depth in compare to these two .

Sound Quality - Sound quality of asus zenfone 5 is decent but not any closer to Moto g or Mi3 . These two scores maximum marks in this segment . Quality in headphones is by far best in xiaomi mi3 . moto g in second and asus zenfone 5 in third .

Camera - Xiaomi has the best camera quality amongst the three with a 13 mp sony Exmor r senser with dual LED flash . Pictures taken from it are crisp , clear , good color reproduction , exposure perfect ( although some times over exposed while in bright sunlight ) good low light shooting capability . Asus Zenfone 5 has a 8 mp pixelmaster camera LED flash with a different camera interface and lots of options . it shoots decent photos in daylight but the real pixel master capability is with the low light shot . It took faulous shots in low light although the resolution of the camera reduced to 2mp but that's there technology which gives nice low light shots . Moto g has a 5 mp camera with LED flash but it gives nice result in daylight . Night shots are ok .

Operating System and User Interface - Moto g runs android 4.4.2 os out of the box . Android 4.4.4 update is rolled out for moto g . It runs on the stock android so the user gets real android experience . Asus Zenfone 5 runs on android 4.3 and zen UI which looks good . Xiaomi mi3 also run on Android 4.3 but they promises 4.4 update . It comes with mi interface .

Battery - Moto g comes with a 2050 mah battery which doesn't look enough but due to good optimization it gives nearly 10 to 12 hrs battery life which is good for the use of a day . Asus Zenfone 5 comes with 2110 mah battery which is not enough for a day of use as it gives 7 to 8 hrs of juice although it can be improved a little with the stamina mode . Xiaomi mi3 comes with 3050 mah battery . which is enough for a day .

Connectivity - Asus comes with Bluetooth 4.0 , wifi , 3g , GPS and GLONAS . Moto g also comes with the same while Xiaomi has a upper hand with nfc in it's pocket .

Performance - This is the biggest issue who performes batter . With Snapdragon 800 chipset and 2 gb ram Xiaomi performes way better than other two ( although it's ram always ready to be filled so quickly due to less optimisation ) . Multy tasking is flawless and you could barely see any lag . It runs all the high graphics games in high smoothly and performes well in each field . Zenfone 5 also comes with 2 gb ram . It has a intel dual core processor which performes realy well with it's hyper threading technology . Multy tasking is smooth without such lag . But in gaming it lags a bit in high end games like asphalt 8 . Overall good performance . Although moto g seems like having shortage of  1 gb ram but it still runs prety smooth in every manner from multy tasking to gaming thanks to its good optimization . Camera performance is good in terms of there respective camera category .

Finaly availability ? That's a big question . As moto g and Xiaomi both are flipkart exclusive in india they are having an availability issue as buyers are much more than the units actually produced . Asus has both flipkart and retail availability but shortage in flipkart obviously . SO It is upto you what you want from your smart phone , your budget and ofcourse your comfort and faith . As xiaomi is a chineese brand people may get confused about there after sales service . Motorola comes after quite a while but they always give good service . Asus has good service all over . One more thing is value for money .

verdict  It's your choice to make because it is you who spend the money from his/her pocket , but in my eyes Xiaomi mi3 is the clear winner in this segment .other twos are good but Xiaomi is better .
